Meet the People
Who Shape the Experience.

OCO brings together people from cricket, academia, design, performance science, leadership and other disciplines.
They don’t all teach the same thing.
That’s the point.
Different perspectives give students different ways to understand the same moment.

One game.
Many ways of seeing it.

A player makes a difficult decision.
A philosopher might ask what made it a good decision.
A performance specialist might look at what happened to the body under pressure.
A leader might ask how the team responded.
A designer might ask whether there was another way to approach the problem.

One moment. Different questions. A deeper understanding.

Different Minds. One shared purpose

There is no single way to understand performance. OCO brings different disciplines together so students can question more carefully, think more clearly and recognise what experience can teach them.

The Learning Doesn’t
Stop When the
Match Begins.

The learning at OCO is woven through the residency. An idea introduced in a tutorial may return during a difficult decision in a match. A conversation about design may change how a student approaches an unfamiliar problem. Performance science may suddenly make sense when the body is tired and pressure begins to rise. Afterwards, those moments become part of the conversation. What happened? Why did you respond that way? What might you notice next time? The purpose is not to make cricket feel academic. It is to help students notice more within it.

Different people bring different perspectives. Oxford gives them space to come together. Cricket puts those ideas into practice. Explore the 2027 Oxford Cricket Odyssey or speak to the team about a pathway for your school, academy or student cohort.

Your Oxford Summer Awaits

You could come for the cricket. You could come for Oxford.
But somewhere between the first training session and the final walk across the city, you may discover something far more valuable
A different idea of who you could become.
